Good Cause Benefits From Westhill Swimmers Charity Efforts
Local swimmers from Westhill District Amateur Swimming Club collectively swam 37,500 metres in aid of a very worthy cause, with 60 young volunteers covering 25 lengths each of Westhill Swimming Pool in an effort to raise sponsorship from friends and family.
CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association of Scotland) is a Scottish charity committed to the provision of children’s hospice services for those with a life-limiting condition.
WDASC ensured that the entire fund raised at this event was passed on to a delighted Arlene Ray of CHAS, who accepted a cheque for £2085.50, a tremendous effort by all those involved on behalf of such a worthwhile charity.
