Dyce Cromar Meet 15th April 2006
A team of 24 swimmers took part in the above meet with huge success. Every 100m swim of the day was a personal best – some by over 10 seconds! Swim of the day has to go to Simon Tierney for his 100m backstroke where he took 10 seconds off his personal best time and was awarded a ‘speeding ticket’ for swimming almost 4 seconds over the cut-off time!
I think every swimmer enjoyed the day as did the coaches. With PB’s flying in from all directions it was hard not to keep smiling! There were many medal winners which was a bonus. They are listed below.
Congratulations to everyone who was at the competition and I look forward to the next one!! Keep putting the hard work in in training as it does pay off in competition.
